Hyderabad firm aims at Rs 5-cr revenue this fiscal

Chennai, Nov 6: C & K Management Ltd, the Hyderabad-based
Information Content provider, is aiming at a topline growth
of Rs. 5 crore this fiscal, mainly on the back of orders under
price negotiations worth Rs 2.1 crore
C & K Managing Director and CEO T. Muralidharan told
The New Indian Express that the company, which is in
the business of mining content from different sources and
converting it into actionable knowledge, has confirmed orders
worth Rs 1.4 crore and renewals of existing orders worth Rs
1.08 crore this fiscal.
It has also got approval from the Insurance Regulatory and
Development Authority for online
insurance agents. training, based on a unique training product
it developed. Revenues from this product are also expected
to add to the over Rs. 5 crore estimate, said Muralidharan.
A large fraction of our earnings are through exports and
we expect to have more than
Rs. 2 crore of exports in 2003-04,. he added. The company
meets the content needs of corporates and academic institutions
in India, the Middle East and the US. Apart from the career
supplement that it currently produces for Khaleej Times,
one of its main clients, it has been requested to produce
another supplement called Computer Times and provide a query
answering service for the same, he said...,We are awaiting
a formal contract for this, he added. We have made cash profits
of Rs. 5 lakh as per the latest audited accounts for the year
ended 31st March 2003, he said.
