Secondary Market

It is a market for the secondary sale of securities. In other words, the market where existing securities are traded is referred to as the secondary market or stock market. In the stock market, securities of government, semi government, and other public bodies as well as shares and debentures issued by joint stock companies are traded.

This market provides liquidity to the investor, since he can trade his securities at any time.
