National Training Policy (NTP) 2012 sets out operational guidelines for the development of human resources and the government. The overarching training framework enunciated in the NTP 2012 would bridge the gaps of training functions of the training managers through a range of training interventions to enhance their performance.
In order to achieve this, a comprehensive functional manual for training managers was developed for carrying out training functions. . The functional manual details out end-to-end training processes – right from training needs assessment to training impact assessment.
Objectives:
- To effectively support the government programmes
- To develop Training Manager’s competencies and skills required for preparing Annual Training Plan, Cadre Training Plan, skill mapping of employees.
- To support in developing and maintaining Training Management Information Systems (TMIS), proper utilization of training budget and a host of other training functions stipulated in the National Training Policy.
